"Brewster Village" was neighbor Erastus H. Hewitt's affectionate name for the Brewster Street neighborhood in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where Frost purchased a house at 35 Brewster Street in 1941 and lived until his death in 1963. Hewitt, who lived a few doors down, later recounted their friendship in a reminiscence titled ‘Robert Frost of Brewster Village,’ delivered to the Cambridge Historical Society in 1965 (Proceedings, Volume 40).
