The last of the first series of benches in Meranti/Okumé that Gjalt. Producties had made in 2013 after the model of the wooden waiting benches in the New York underground. Since then, new series have been made in different materials such as oak, concrete, MDF and recently four natural stone benches. This sofa, now a loner, is very meticulously lacquered with five layers of Le Tonkinois, a mixture of linseed oil, resin and China wood oil and colored with water stain from nut cubes. Recently provided with two new layers of paint and therefore in new condition. Intended for indoor use. Comes with full color mini brochure of the first hour. Original 1970s design, newly made.
