This print is in generally very good to excellent condition. There is a small, soft impression in the lower right quadrant. Upon close examination in raking light, the following are visible: few faint linear impressions in the upper portion of the image; and a scuff in the upper right quadrant. There is a faint fingerprint in the lower margin. The upper right margin corner is bumped and there is occasional margin edge wear.

The reverse is faintly soiled. Ward Stout's title ('Attorney in Fact') in the stamp has been crossed out and replaced with 'Executor of the Estate of Robert Mapplethorpe' in an unidentified hand in ink.
