Robert Motherwell
1990
Lithograph in colors, on Japanese Kozo paper Chine collé to Rives BFK paper, with full margins.
I. 8 x 10 in. (20.3 x 25.4 cm)
S. 14 1/8 x 16 1/8 in. (35.9 x 41 cm)
Signed, dated and numbered 60/200 in pencil (there were also 20 artist's proofs), published by the artist, to benefit the U.S. Senate campaign of Harvey Gantt, printed in the United States, framed.
Condition Report:
The blue faded, presumably a diagonal press crease at the lower edge of the image (with slight associated lifting from the wove paper support sheet), very occasional pinpoint paper inclusion and/or pinpoint foxmarks in the image and margins (mainly visible under close inspection).
In our opinion, this work is in generally very good condition.
F: the sheet taped in three places at the reverse upper sheet edge. Within a white-painted wood, floated, under Plexiglas.
All condition assessments exclude a work's frame.
