Condition Details: This painting is in very good condition. With the unaided eye there are traces of very fine craquelure in the sky portion. The work has been relined. Closer inspection under ultraviolet light reveals possible inpainting in the lower left, roughly 7 inches from the bottom and 2 inches from the left. This consists of a few dots in gathered a line, the largest measuring approximately 3/16 inch. There is possible inpainting or even overpainting located in the lower right, just to the left of and beneath the signature. There is otherwise normal fluorescence of artist's pigments. The piece is framed in a gold cap with a wide linen liner and a gold liner. The frame is in good condition with normal wear.
