Robin Nance (1907-1990) of St Ives was apprenticed to Arthur Romney Green in 1924. For a time with his brother Dicon he set up as a furniture maker in the Arts and Crafts tradition. He worked closely with fellow artists in the area including Bernard Leach, Barbara Hepworth and Ben Nicholson. Nance Furniture contributed to many exhibitions including the Festival of Britain in 1951.
