Description: Rococo Revival dressing bureau, probably American, in figured mahogany and mahogany veneer, with four graduated serpentine drawers, turned wood pulls and foliate ornament to the upper drawer and shaped apron. A recessed white marble dressing surface is flanked by two raised compartments with hinged lids. The tall adjustable mirror has a shaped, scroll-carved frame and elaborate pierced foliate supports with turned lateral finials. Paneled sides, dovetailed drawers, framed back panels and casters complete the case.
