Description: A Rococo Revival style settee with a broad, upholstered back framed by scrolling shoulders and a carved crest centered by an oval cartouche. Foliate carving extends across the crest, while substantial wooden arms curl outward above upholstered side panels. Red and gold damask covers the tufted inside back, seat, arms and exterior rear panel. The molded front seat rail is shaped at the corners above short curved legs with carved knees and claw-form feet, with straight legs supporting the rear.
