6 beautiful etchings with various scenes in Montmartre from the period 1903-1910 in excellent condition, partly written with annotation on the back, all signed in pencil and some dated in the plate. Very fresh and clear early editions by Rodolphe Bollinger, Arborkölliken 1878-1952 Zurich.
Swiss painter, draftsman and etcher.
Drawn animals from an early age. After visiting the Paris World Exhibition, he decided to become a painter and studied at the Académie Julien in Paris.
Participated several times in the Salon des Indépendents and was friends with Suzanne Valadon, Ronald Dorgeles, Anadeo Modigliano, Raoul Dufy and Maurice Utrillo.
Exhibited portraits, views of Montmartre and animals at the Salon des Indépendants between 1903-1909.
