Roemer with Roemer clamp

Romans with Roman ferrule North German or Netherlands, 17th century Olive-coloured glass with tear-off. Flared, spun foot. On the hollow shaft, which is open at the top, three berry nubs, pinched thread support circumferential at the base of the cuppa. H. 12 cm. Roman screw made of bronze, partly gilded or colorfully painted, in the form of a standing cavalier in period costume, holding the screw clip in his right hand, the plinth octagonal and decorated with curled acanthus tendrils and flowers, traces of age. H. 28 cm (total).
