Roger Kuntz
(1926-1975)
"Rio Cuale"
Oil on canvas
Signed lower left: Kuntz; titled in black on the stretcher
30 x 40 in.

Condition
Visual: Some scattered minor surface soiling. A note on the backing board states it was cleaned and varnished, possibly in 1988.Blacklight: Somewhat difficult to read under UV. There are areas that present unevenly under blacklight (scattered places in the sky, and one 3 x 3 area of white palette-knife application in the center of the painting). These areas may be due to restoration or the pigments used by the artist, as issued. Frame: 37 1/2 x 47 1/2 x 3 in.Condition reports are offered as a courtesy and are typically published in Moran's catalogue or can be made available upon request. The absence of a condition report does not imply that an item is free from defects or restoration, nor does a reference to particular defects imply the absence of others. Buyers are responsible for determining to their own satisfaction the true nature and condition of any lot prior to bidding. Though buyers are not legally required to inspect lots prior to purchase, failure to do so may constitute a waiver of complaint that an item was not delivered in a condition equal to the existent condition at the auction.
