Pre-owned Rolex Air-King 5500 with aftermarket Mickey Mouse Dial

The standard, catalog Air-King reference 5500 measures 34mm in diameter, in line with the standards of its era.

This piece presents a Rolex aftermarket Mickey Mouse dial.

The reference 5500 uses an Oyster case and screw down crown; Rolex rated its depth to 50m. This was all topped with a domed, acrylic crystal.

Its story:
Manufactured for over 30 years, the reference 5500 is one of the longest-running models in the history of Rolex. Introduced in 1957 and remaining in production until it was replaced by the Reference 14000 in 1989, it’s truly an iconic Rolex model.
