Rolex Datejust 26mm 6917 Silver
"Oyster Perpetual Date 6917" was manufactured for a long period from the late 1950s to the 1980s.
Its successor the 69173 which appeared in the late 1980s began to be called the Datejust.
It has details typical of a vintage watch such as a plastic windshield side holes in the lugs and a wrapped bracelet and the fact that it does not have a quick date change function gives it an appeal that current models lack.
While it has instantly recognizable Rolex features such as the fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet its simple design makes it a versatile watch that can be used in any occasion.
