The origin of the Explorer lies in the bubbleback watches because the "bubbleback" Rolex
was extremely robust and solid. Although this version of the Ref. 6350 does not yet bear
the name Explorer on the dial, it is unofficially regarded by most vintage collectors as
the first real Explorer.
