The reference 16753 belongs to the 3rd generation of the GMT-Master, developed in 1954 at the request of Pan American Airways for its transatlantic pilots. In comparison to its predecessor (the reference 1675), the two-tone 16753 offers a quick-set date and a higher-beat for its automatic movement with GMT-complication. This vintage, two-tone sport Rolex offers a classic look with a hint of gold for a more dressy look. This example is in excellent condition, with perhaps a single light case polishing during its lifetime, if any. The handset (minute, hour, seconds, and GMT hands) were replaced at some point during service.
