Rolex was founded in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf. Since its inception Rolex has been producing world class watches which have been the aspirational for generations of collectors. This watch is a Lady Datejust reference 6517 in 26mm. It features an aftermarket bezel with white and gold diamonds. The dial is an aftermarket mother of pearl with full cut diamond hour markers. The watch features a non quickset date function. It is powered by a chronometer grade caliber 2030 28 jewel automatic movement. The watch is mounted on its original stainless steel and gold jubilee bracelet. This watch is elegant and can be both a daily wear or special occasion timepiece.
Condition Report: Dial is in very good condition. The case is in good showing scratches commensurate with age and has been polished. The bracelet shows stretch which is to be expected considering its 1971 manufacture. The movement is running at the time of cataloging. Overall the present example is in very good condition.
