Attractive ladies Rolex Datejust Ref. 6517 from 1971 with uncommon glossy black sigma dial with gold lettering.

Featured model shows to be in great condition with a flawless dial and a strong case. Beefy lugs serving as a testament to the barely/none polished case. Reference and serial number between the lugs are both well legible, indicating this timepiece originates from 1971 (serial number 2. 6xx. xxx) .

The 18 carat yellow gold case shows minor flaws, with normal signs of superficial scratches. Screw down case back bears the reference number as well as gold hallmarks and a Rolex signature.

The watch is fitted to a later brown leather strap/buckle.

Cal. 1161 movement is running well and keeps accurate timing.

Case dimension without crown: 25mm.
