Condition Report:
Case: The case is presented in excellent overall condition with signs of general wear from the past. In our opinion the case is unpolished with crisp engravings on the caseback and numbers between the lugs. The surface is presented with visible scratches, dings and scuffs throughout. The crown with a very light chip. The bezel insert is well-preserved and the pearl has aged to a caramel colour. The bracelet and clasp are presented in similar condition as the case.
Dial: The dial is in excellent condition. The glossy black dial has aged attractively with a spidered appeal. The luminous material has aged to a buttery colour from ageing. They remain reactive but do not glow under UV light. The luminous material on the minute and second hands react differently from the hour hand.
Movement: The present example displays a movement that functions properly during the cataloguing process and the date advances past midnight. Please note that the movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended.
