Condition Report:
Case: The case is presented in very good condition and has been professionally refinished. The case edges and bevels are nice and defined. There are very minor hairlines. There are tiny scuffs on the lugs. The hallmarks and engravings remain visible. The bracelet is presented in similar condition as the case.
Dial: The dial is presented in well-preserved condition with signs of ageing. The dial is aged nicely into a “tropical” brown dial, with lines on the surface due to ageing. The hands and hour markers also show signs of ageing and oxidization. The luminous material on the hands remains faintly reactive under UV light.
Movement: The present example displays a movement that functions properly, date advances past midnight during the cataloguing process. Please note that the movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended.
