The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The date function is advancing properly. The watch is in excellent condition with minor signs of wear to the case bands, hardly visible to the naked eye.

Introduced during the 1980s, the reference 16600 closely resembles its predecessor, the late 16660, retaining important features such as the sapphire crystal and impressive water resistance of up to 1220 meters. Throughout its extensive production run, the luminous material used on the watch dial transitioned from tritium to Luminova, and eventually to SuperLuminova. The current timepiece belongs to the later years of production and comes with all the accompanying accessories.
