Condition Report:
The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. All functions are working properly. The case band with a scuff mark from 8 to 9 o'clock visible to the naked eye. The case back still retains the green factory sticker. Otherwise the watch and bracelet are in excellent overall condition with very minor signs of wear only.

Catalogue Note:
Anniversary pieces are often the most sought-after and coveted in Rolex collections. The “Kermit” marks the 50th anniversary of the Submariner in 2003 and for the first time Rolex putting a green bezel in the lineup. Amongst the pieces, the earlier “Flat 4” examples are even more popular due to their rarity. Often found in Y and F serial numbers, the bezel at the 40th minute scale has a flat top inside the empty space of 4, whereas the sharp 4 variation would have a triangle shape on the interior. The current watch ticks all the boxes for a Mark I example with serif fonts on the flat 4 bezel and “Swiss Made” with 5 shortened minute markers on the dial. Together with all the original accessories, the watch is offered in excellent condition and marked the important milestone of the legendary collection.
