Rolex - Turn-O-Graph Gilt Dial - 6202 - Unisex - 1950-1959
ORIGINAL ROLEX REF. 6202 OYSTER PERPETUAL TURN-O-GRAPH GILT DIAL STAINLESS STEEL watch, produced in 1954. First time debuted in 1953 the reference 6202 has entered the history of Rolex with crucial function "tool watch". At that time, this model stunned, whereas it differed from previously designed models. Bearing the idea that the usefulness of a piece should extend beyond its role as an item of jewellery that just happens to tell the time. The watch holds caliber A260 2 ruby jew. It was released with different dial configuration, such as gilt lacquer. Current model features an original black gilt dial, signed "Rolex", "Oyster Perpetual", "Turn-O-Graph", "Swiss". One more advancement is rotating bidirectional bezel, which damaged under the influence of time (please, see photos) . The case measuring 36cm (1. 41 inch) across and 44cm (1,73 inch) from lug to lug, is in good condition, undoubtedly surface scratches are unavoidable on a watch of 1950'. Despite that, it is in good working condition. Watches, such as present, are surprisingly rare find, according to the fact this model was manufactured in limited examples.
