Rolex was founded in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf. Since its inception Rolex has been producing world-class watches which have been the aspirational for generations of collectors. This particular model, the "Zephyr" Oyster Perpetual was introduced in in the mid 1950's. This model is characterized by a quadrant dial and engine turned bezel. This example measures 34mm and is two tone. The case is stainless steel and the bezel and crown are 14K gold. The accompanying original riveted oyster bracelet is also stainless steel and 14K gold. The watch is powered by a Rolex caliber 1570 chronometer grade automatic movement. This watch is a great everyday wear and can also be worn for special occasions.
Condition Report: Dial is in excellent condition showing virtually no aging. The case is in very good condition showing minor scratches and light polishing. The movement is running at the time of cataloging. Overall the present example is in very good condition.
