An egg-shaped Roll top warmer/serving bowl. Still in very good condition. Likely made by: JAMES DIXON & SON. Sheffield. In 1806, in Silver Street, Sheffield by James Dixon, in partnership with Mr. Smith. The firm became James Dixon & Son (1823) , James Dixon & Sons (1835c.) The trumpet and banner logo was registered in 1881. Finished with a pearl edge. An ivory knob?
