[ translate ]

1930 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Thrupp & Maberly Limousine. This vehicle was on display to the public at the Catawiki stand at the Salón Retromóvil in Madrid between 26th and 28th November 2021. Interesting car with a bodywork built by the prestigious British workshop Thrupp & Maberly. Its history is documented (see pictures) . The chassis—an extra-long model— was delivered on 21/10/1929. The car left the Thrupp & Maberly bodywork workshop on 25/04/1930. The design is specially low and stylised, much more than what was usually normal for limousines back then. Currently, the exterior has preserved its original colour and shape, as stated in the factory documents which are provided (see photographs) . No traces of rust on the entire bodywork. The interior is the original one, with a combination of leather in the front and fabric in the back, according to the demands of the noble people of the time. Despite some signs of wear due to time, the condition is overall very good. The engine starts smoothly and runs properly (we have videos available) after a recent tune-up. The previous owner added an electric petrol pump to make the use of the car more convenient. The gearbox and the gears engage smoothly and both the brakes and the steering do their job. The previous owner had a person taking charge of the good condition of the car, and in November 2021 it was serviced, including: 8x Champion 7 spark plugs Spark plug cables, new manufacture New petrol pump, 12 V Replacement of oil and filters Battery Fluids in general (Invoice in the pictures) The vehicle is located in Madrid, Spain. #luxuryselection
