Rolls-Royce - Silver Cloud 6,2 liter V8 - 1962

[ translate ]

Original Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 2 delivered in the Netherlands, in mint condition. On 18 January 1962, Mr. Smeets from Weert could pick up his new Silver Cloud at the port of Hoek van Holland. The Rolls Royce was personally delivered to the new owner by the factory. This history is fortunately preserved with the car. Later, the Rolls came into the possession of the Secretary of the Rolls Royce Club Netherlands who cherished the car for 30 years. The magnificent Cloud still has the same original Dutch license plate and has the colour Royal Blue with the original first Connolly leather beige interior. Along with the tinted glass, the beautiful walnut wood, the abundance of gold leaf in the interior (costs were literally not considered!) and the stately chrome, a particularly nice left-hand-drive copy. So also with an odometer in kilometres and not in miles. Rare! The car has been completely restored in the past by Rolls Royce/Bentley specialist Nico Oosterhuis and is still in a particularly beautiful condition. The current maintenance is now in the hands of Brabo in Hillegom, the Netherlands. No costs were spared, which is directly visible on the car. The Rolls therefore also drives how a Rolls should drive. Superbly quiet and literally like on a cloud. . . This copy is equipped with power steering, a complete stainless steel exhaust system, beautiful emblems on the front bumper and new tyres. No more the whitewall tyres as in the photo. In short: A very beautiful and reliable Silver Cloud. Complete with the original tools, associated portable lamp, white gloves, the original rare workshop manual, original instruction booklet and the car has a lot of documentation. A magnificent, gorgeous and good classic car! The car can be viewed and picked up in Pijnacker, the Netherlands.
