The car was used for years by a large hotel in the Netherlands for anniversaries and special occasions, it was always well maintained. In white with dark grey leather upholstery which is still original. The original, thick, dark grey Connolly leather creates a nice, stylish contrast with the burl wooden dashboard and the chrome finish. The Rolls-Royce with chassis number SRH 7127 was always driven with care by the same driver, it was well maintained. It starts immediately and runs consistently. The original matching V8 6L is very powerful and reacts immediately. The automatic gearbox shifts very well and the brakes and shock absorbers work well, as one may expect from a Rolls from that period. The hydraulic system has been fully checked recently. New brake calipers have been fitted. The car has an 8-track recorder and a Motorola radio with electric antenna. All from 1969 and thankfully not modernised. The carpeting is neat and the car has 4 good Goodyear tyres. The matching, original jack will be included. The Silver Cloud is 51 years old and has aged well, it was maintained well and driven with great care. It only had one business driver according to the Dutch national road traffic administration (Nederlandse Rijksdienst) . There’s always some traces wear to be found; the electric sliding roof does not work but this nevertheless is a nice, reliable and fine travel car. Beautiful paint and a sleek look. The Rolls has just been approved for 2 more years, after this it will be exempt from periodic inspections (in the Netherlands) .
