One-of-a-kind piece

Accumulation (2023) is a series of sculptures by Romain les Bains.
Fruits, modeled one by one by hand, pile up on a fragment of a body, as if on the remains of an ancient statue. The matte, mineral-like surface evokes marble.
The abundance piles up to the point of excess. Each composition seeks its balance, teetering on the brink of collapse.
