Roman Banded Blue Glass Bead Necklace Group
1st-3rd century AD. A pair of necklace strings, each composed of mainly barrel-shaped blue banded glass beads with later gold-coloured spacer beads. 15 grams total, 32-34cm (12 1/2 - 13 1/2"). The Signo collection, the property of a West London businessman, formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s. [2]
