A choice Roman-Egyptian terracotta head of a woman, c. 1st - 2nd century AD. This beautiful example depicts a female with an elaborately braided, ornament-studded coif. Well-detailed with good mineral deposits. H: 2 1/4 in (5.7 cm). Mounted on stand. Ex Virginia private estate.
