Roman Empire Honorius (393-423 A. D) . Gold solidus (4,44 g. 21 mm.) Minted in Thessalonica, 403-408 A. D. Obv. : D N HONORIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed three-quarters facing bust with Christogram on chest, holding spear over shoulder and shield with horseman motif. Rev. : CONCORDIA AVGGG, Constantinopolis seated facing, with head right and foot on prow, holding sceptre and Victory on globe; star in left field, COMOB in exergue. RIC 43.
