1st-2nd century AD. A fragment of painted plaster fresco with female bust in shades of red and terracotta. 2.3 kg, 30.5cm including matrix (12"). From the private collection of a Canadian gentleman living in London; acquired circa 1984 and subsequently cleaned and mounted in a plaster matrix by Martin Foster around 1994.
