[ translate ]

**First Time At Auction**

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 3rd century CE. A gorgeous free-blown double unguentarium, formed from an emerald-green glass, comprised of two tubes conjoined at the base, each with a tubular body and a flared rim. An applied trail handle conjoins the rim and body of one tube, though the second handle is sadly missing. Areas of faint rainbow-hued iridescence provide a lovely complementarity to the overall appearance of the vessel. Provenance: private New York, New York, USA collection; ex-Dr. Q. Chess collection, New York, New York, USA

All items legal to buy/sell under U.S. Statute covering cultural patrimony Code 2600, CHAPTER 14, and are guaranteed to be as described or your money back.

A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany all winning bids.

We ship worldwide to most countries and handle all shipping in-house for your convenience.
