A carnelian gemstone with intaglio scene of a seated figure (Jupiter?) accepting a winged infant (Cupid) from a standing female (Venus?), set into a later gold finger ring with drum-shaped bezel; accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 8.29 grams, 24.05mm overall, 19.22mm internal diameter (approximate size British L, USA 5 3/4, Europe 11.24, Japan 10) (3/4").
