A bronze lamp with body in the form of a sleeping dog, body curled and with collar around neck and halter around forelegs, oil filling hole to the centre; angled nozzle to the front, acanthus leaf-shaped reflector to the back with ring handle behind. 242 grams, 10.5cm (4 1/4"). Property of a Suffolk gentleman; acquired before 2000.
