Roman Pin and Spoon Group

2nd-3rd century AD. A mixed bronze group comprising: a spoon with shallow discoid bowl, D-section shank, bird finial; a pin with round shank, pierced finial with bird; a pin with tapering shank, bird finial with exaggerated crest. 49 grams total, 10-14cm (4 - 5 1/2"). Property of an Alberta gentleman; formerly in a Canadian collection formed in the 1980s. [3, No Reserve]
