Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A charming, wheel thrown redware bowl with a diminutive flared foot, a shallow interior, and a flanged ring around its base. A deep, wheel-cut groove runs around the exterior just below the rim. The surface is a rich, earthy red. Size: 5.25" W x 2.25" H (13.3 cm x 5.7 cm)
