1st century BC-1st century AD. A hollow-formed terracotta herm with flared base, tapering square-section body, lateral lugs, low-relief male genitals, inclined head with soft features, radiating segmented crown or nimbus; hole to the reverse. 385 grams, 28cm (11"). From an old Tokyo collection; previously the property of a Japanese gentleman since the late 1980s. [No Reserve]
