Roman centurion with shield and spear - H 200 cm - Iron (cast) - 20th century, possibly earlier

Wonderful and mighty Cast Iron Sculpture depicting a Roman Centurion, armed with a shield and spear. Part of a couple, coming from the garden of a former theater in Rome. Remarkable is the patina of the metal, and the finesse of the workmanship, the carefully engraved shield as well as the armor depicting a battle scene. Lot of high quality and workmanship, exclusive and sporadic. It is completely intact, in excellent general conditions. Perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. The lance is obviously removable. It will be shipped in a properly packaged wooden case. Economic, safe and traceable shipments all over the world.
