Ulysses, the bearded hero is disguised as a beggar (with his legs crossed) and is wearing a pileus and a short tunic, supporting himself with a walking stick; the episode can be referred to his return home. On the background, a tall pedestal and attributes in field. Excellent preservation and light wear marks. Interesting work, characterized by a particularly deep carving. Convex surface. The subject can be traced to the gens Mamilia (see coinage). 2nd century A.D.
