Vintage fountain pen signature and inscription, "Good luck to the University of Maryland Unit, Ronald Reagan, 2nd Lt. Cav.,” on an off-white 6 x 4 sheet. Matted with a photo of Reagan in uniform to an overall size of 14 x 18. In very good to fine condition, with light overall spotting. Reagan was appointed as Second Lieutenant in the Officers Reserve Corps of the Cavalry on May 25, 1937, and promoted to First Lieutenant on January 14, 1943, dating this signature to that period.
