Rookwood Amelia Sprague Commercial Club of Cincinnati Tankard. Pewter lid with 'CCC' monogram, the body with a hand-painted orange thistle on a greem, brown, and orange ground. Lettering in low-relief along the mouth reads, 'MDCCCXCIV' (1894). Lettering along the foot in low-relief reads, 'Commercial Club of Cincinnati'. Inscribed mark to the underside, 'RP logo, 783, ASP (Amelia Sprague 1870-1951)'. Cincinnati, Ohio. 1894. {Approximate dimensions: 6 1/2 high x 4 1/2 inches diameter.}. Condition: Minimal wear, some possible minor loss to glaze on raised lettering, could be from manufacturing.
