Rosenthal Studio-Linie Artist Cup No. 9 by Beate Kuhn
This cup with matching saucer in glazed white porcelain belongs to the Artist Cup series by Rosenthal Studio-Linie. The set features a sculptural, asymmetric design with organic lines. The cup has an irregular, multi-lobed rim, while the saucer displays a three-leaf clover shape. The decoration consists of minimalist line drawings depicting motifs of the female body and a stylised face. In terms of colour, the design is rendered in pink and yellow, where flat glazed sections alternate with fine contour lines. On the underside of both pieces is a circular, printed underglaze mark.
