Rosenthal Studio-line Artist Cup No. 7 Martin Hunt Porcelain Set

A two-piece set consisting of a white glazed porcelain cup and matching saucer in a postmodern design. The cup features a rounded bowl shape resting on four spherical feet in blue, pink, light blue, and lavender. It has a striking, angular handle with a flat top, decorated with horizontal stripes in matching pastel shades. A lavender-coloured spherical spacer is positioned between the handle and the rim of the cup. The saucer is flat and circular with a central well decorated with concentric rings in blue, pink, and lavender. The decoration consists of coloured glazes on the feet and handle, as well as transfer prints on the saucer and the underside of the cup. The underside of the saucer bears a black underglaze printed mark featuring a crown over two crossed swords, followed by the text 'Rosenthal studio-linie GERMANY'. Beneath this is 'Künstlertasse Nr. 7' and 'Martin Hunt', as well as a printed signature 'Martin Hunt'. Additionally, a small number '13' is impressed. The underside of the cup shows the same 'Rosenthal studio-linie GERMANY' mark and the text 'Künstlertasse Nr. 7', along with an impressed number '28'. Inside the cup, near the rim, is a small blue inscription 'Martin Hunt'.
