Rouge de Fer Rooster vase with Rockefeller border and butterflies - Porcelain - China - Yongzheng (1723-1735)

An incredibly fine and rare Yongzheng period vase of quatrefoil form decorated a pair of roosters perched on rocks, surrounded by a pair of large butterflies, insects and sprays of flowers in rouge de fer enamels, grey, black and gold. The neck and lower body embellished with a Rockefeller border in red and gold with black outlines. Dates to Yongzheng period ( 1723-1735) Standing ca. 22. 5 cm tall and weighing ca. 653g Condition - In absolutely fantastic condition with few signs of age related wear. No chips, cracks or repairs. Some glaze and firing flaws. This lot has been carefully checked in UV light. No lid.
