"I could go on for days with praise for these books, they definitely deserve the popularity And reputation they've garnered. Even going into them knowing some spoilers they were extremely satisfying. Definitely takes the crown for "hardest to put down." I wish I hadn't waited until my 30s to read them. They teach so many valuable life lessons that I should've read them when I was old enough. The series has lots of in-depth lore, few plotholes if any, action and suspect drive you through the whole series, a bit of romance, humor and political thrill. This is the best series ever. I consider them far superior to George R.R Martin's a Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) which I enjoyed tons but not as much. This series was just as hard to predict as that was. Harry Potter isn't just for kids." [a private review]
