Temple, 1964, total edition unknown, from the signed edition of 300, published by Leo Castelli Gallery, New York (Corlett, II.3). Signed, dated, and numbered "rf Lichtenstein 1964 155/300" in pencil l.r. Screenprint in black and blue on paper, image/sheet size 23 x 17 in. (58.4 x 43.2 cm), framed.
Condition: Water (or similar) staining to left edge, very pale fox marks, gentle rippling, floated within the frame, not examined out of frame.
Estimate $3,000-5,000

Out of the frame the work is hinged to a backing made with numerous tiny hinges along all edges (but us otherwise loose). There is staining to all four edge, and pale fox marks scattered within the composition (see images).

The frame is 24 x 18 x 1 1/4 in.
