Royal Crown Derby Paradise Maroon Tureen and Plate

A vintage Royal Crown Derby English bone china porcelain tureen and matching underplate, produced circa 1965 to 1970 in the Paradise Maroon pattern, number A1090 X3. Large rounded body with white porcelain ground hand decorated with a rich red glaze and a profusion of gilded embellishments, in wildlife bird and botanical patterns, with French style crosses, and other designs. Accompanied with matching underplate featuring opposing gilded handles. All with ROYAL CROWN DERBY BONE CHINA MADE IN ENGLAND backstamp. Tureen with cover measures approximately 8" x 14.5" x 9". Underplate measures approximately 1.75" x 15.25" x 10.5".

Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear. Estate fresh to the market.
