Wonderful pair of fiery red porcelain figurines of a duck and hare made by Royal Doulton. These 1920's figurines showcase the stunning Flambe glaze, originating from Chinese potters in the 11th century. Utilising copper oxide as a colouring agent and fired in a reducing atmosphere, Royal Doulton adopted this technique in 1908.
