A stunning Retro rubellite tourmaline cocktail ring, in 9Kt gold, circa 1950s-1980s.; The beautiful solitaire, cushion cut, tourmaline measuring, approximately, 10.55 carats, has been prong set in a bold 9 karat yellow gold setting. The gem is a rich reddish pink hue, has vivid saturation, medium tone, superb clarity, and brilliance.; The ring is in excellent vintage condition showing only general signs of wear. It weighs approximately 5.40 grams and is US ring size 6 1/4 (UK ring size M). The face of the ring measures 0.49 inches (1.25 cm) tall by 0.49 inches (1.25 cm) wide by 0.39 inches (1 cm) high from the top of the band. It bears the designer's stamp SP and 9Kt (confirmed with acid testing).; Included in the sale is the IGL gemological card.
